EICMA. We’ve left our mark for 110 years“, was the slogan. 

More than 600,000 attendees were tallied during the six days of the 81st EICMA in Milan, the International Two-Wheeler Exhibition, the one that marked 110 years for the most important exhibition event in the world for the motorcycle industry and its enthusiasts. 

Also record-breaking was the number of exhibitors present, more than 770, representing 45 countries and 2163 brands, numbers that confirm the relevance and attraction of EICMA, where as many as 26% of the companies present were there for the first time. In addition there were more than 38000 industry professionals coming from 126 different countries. In the media domain, attendance by journalists, content creators, technicians, and communication professionals was up over 13% from 2023, and they came from as many as 74 countries, totaling nearly 8000 people.

With a record surface area of over 330000 square meters, EICMA enchanted visitors and media in the external MotoLive area, animated by shows, new entertainment, motorcycle tests, and eight hours of live television. And a star attraction was the races showcasing international riders and motorsport legends, as well as the twin-cylinder adventure bikes, queens of the motorcycle market. 

One of the defining trends at EICMA 2024 was electric. The best brands in the world presented models with the latest generation of powerful but sustainable electric engines.

As always, the famous EICMA girls were the focus of attention at EICMA again this year and are the subject of this gallery. Many have criticized me for mainly filming the women and not covering the new products at the EICMA. And every year the usual polemics arise about the role of girls at EICMA.  Many think that girls are objectified, and exploited to please the male attendees. But in reality, and much to the contrary, the EICMA girls are willing and active protagonists. They dominate the event scene and know how to draw attention to the beauty of the motorbikes while raising the value of the brands.

Through their smiles, their energy and charisma, combined with their femininity, they contribute to making EICMA a unique event, to celebrate together the love of motorbikes, speed and freedom. They help to create a party atmosphere where everyone has fun, even the friends of the visitors who from far away receive the surprise of a video greeting from an EICMA girl.
