Milano Fashion Week , Spring Summer Women's collection 2024

Milano Fashion Week SSW24

This year, Milan Fashion Week took place September 19th-25th. The city hosted 65 runway shows featuring the Spring-Summer 2024 women’s collections, including five digital presentations. And unlike the previous two years, this Milan Fashion Week was filled with notable events, including significant debuts, such as Sabato De Sarno’s taking over the creative direction at Gucci, the standout runway shows like Diesel’s, and a crowd of celebrities who ventured from Hollywood to Milan to watch it all.

The front row of Milan Fashion Week seemed more attended by stars than the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival.

Applauding the graphic color-blocked looks from the Fendi fashion house were Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, Cara Delevingne, Demi Moore, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, and Naomi Watts.

Prada’s ambassadors and fans gathered on the second day to view the new collection designed by Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada. In the audience were Scarlett Johansson, Vincent Cassel, Emma Watson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Wes Anderson, the K-Pop band Enhypen, Rosalia, and Kylie Jenner.

The models dominating the runways of the 2023 Fashion Week were Vittoria Ceretti, Mariacarla Boscono, and Irina Shayk.

They showcased the Spring-Summer 2024 collections of Roberto Cavalli, Max Mara, Fendi, The Attico, Missoni, Ferrari, Alberta Ferretti, and others. The award for the fashion brands that brought together the most top models went to Dolce & Gabbana and Versace.

In addition to including Vittoria, Irina, and Mariacarla, the Lombard-Sicilian designer duo chose to make their sensual and elegant outfits even more special with models like Ashley Graham, Mona Tougaard, Anok Yai, Natasha Poly, and the legendary Naomi Campbell.
