Mi Fashion week FW26/27

AN ENDLESS STAGE

MILAN FASHION WEEK FW26/27

Milan Fashion Week is much more than a succession of runway shows. For a few intense days, the entire city becomes a stage: fashion moves beyond the catwalk, celebrities mix with models and creators, photographers fill the streets, and every entrance, pavement and unexpected encounter can become an image.
Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026/27 was a season of transition and strong identities. Milan offered contrasts rather than one dominant trend: sensuality and rigorous tailoring, transparency and layering, heritage and experimentation, intense colours alongside deep black, rich textures, embellishment and a renewed appreciation of craftsmanship.
The extraordinary presence of international celebrities added another dimension to the week. Madonna commanded attention at Dolce & Gabbana, while Uma Thurman, Jessica Alba, Dakota Fanning and Iris Law were among the personalities attending Fendi. Kendall Jenner was another major presence during the week. Fashion in Milan is no longer confined to what happens on the runway: the arrivals, front rows, streets and crowds of photographers have become part of the spectacle themselves.
This gallery is my personal journey through that extraordinary Milanese theatre.
There is Etro, with its dazzling universe of colour, prints and shimmering details. Then Blumarine, where colour meets sensuality: Sita Abellán, Alla Bruletova and Clara Soncini, with Soncini attracting an extraordinary crowd of photographers around her. Olandria Carthen, with her powerful presence, and Jessica Goicoechea, with her confident sensuality, were among the other faces that made Blumarine particularly memorable through my lens.
At Missoni, the house’s unmistakable stripes, colours and graphic patterns provided the setting for personalities including Larsen Thompson and Beatrice Valli.
Salinas offered an entirely different visual world, with its distinctly Peruvian-inspired identity, enriched by the sensual presence of Valentina Pesce and Benedetta Mennini.
At Laura Biagiotti, Rossa Perrotta embodied a more classical sense of distinction and elegance.
The journey continued with Ermanno Scervino, photographed against the futuristic architecture of the new Milan. Here, Evelyn Kazantzoglou and Katerina Evangelinou brought Mediterranean elegance and character, while Elisabetta Gregoraci, in striking red and white, expressed another vision of sophisticated femininity.
Finally, at Dolce & Gabbana, Romy Nassar brought an enigmatic Middle Eastern beauty to a house where sensuality and Italian identity remain unmistakable.
And yet, this is only a fragment of what I saw and photographed. Shows, models, celebrities, encounters, streets and unforgettable moments are inevitably missing.
A synthesis is necessary, because every Milan Fashion Week feels infinite — and perhaps that is precisely what makes photographing it so fascinating.
