MFW Fall/Winter 25/26

After the men’s collections showcased in January, womenswear has taken center stage once again with 56 physical runway shows and 6 digital ones, 65 presentations, 4 by-appointment showings, and 23 events. A total of 153 appointments, including the debut collections under the creative direction of Lorenzo Serafini for Alberta Ferretti and David Koma for Blumarine.

The Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 edition of Milan Fashion Week stood out for its ability to anticipate trends and deliver an unprecedented spectacle.

The collections—from the most established designers to emerging talents—explored themes of vulnerability, inner growth, memory, and resilience, offering a glimpse into the future of fashion.
Historic brands that have shaped Milan’s legacy – from Prada to Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana to Fendi – brought to the runway creations that spoke of a sophisticated luxury, capable of blending craftsmanship and technology.

The big names were joined on the calendar by younger brands such as Giuseppe Di Morabito, Marco Rambaldi, and Francesco Murano.

It was also an edition marked by important anniversaries.

On Wednesday, February 26, Fendi celebrated 100 years of history with a co-ed runway show. To mark its centenary, the show featured a luxurious cast including Mona Tougaard, Irina Shayk, and Paloma Elsesser.

Dsquared2 and K-Way celebrated their 30th and 60th anniversaries, respectively.
Dsquared2 held a 30th-anniversary party where fashion blended with the vibe of a New York nightclub. During the show, Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, Tyson Beckford, and Alton Mason, among others, walked the runway in looks that embodied the essence of Dsquared2.
K-Way, on the other hand, marked its 60th anniversary with a runway show and an exhibition celebrating the “poetic side of everyday life.”

And while Fiorucci officially returned to the calendar with a runway show held on Saturday, March 1st, Marni and Bottega Veneta were notably absent from this edition.

Milan is fashion. Milan Fashion Week FW25/26 reaffirmed the city’s role as a global stage for the most innovative and inspiring fashion.

From creations that explored vulnerability and inner growth to collections celebrating memory and resilience, each show told a unique story.

Designers pushed beyond aesthetic boundaries, bringing to the runway a kind of fashion that is not just clothing, but a profound act of expression—an invitation to reflect on our world, our bodies, and our future.
